The Coca Cola Scholars Foundation (CCSF) is a nonprofit organization that works on authority and at the direction of the Coca Cola system to provide scholarships to about 1,400 students yearly in amounts totaling over $3.4 million each year. The organization is headquartered at Atlanta, Georgia.

The CCSF proudly supports two years colleges through the Coca Cola Community College Academic Team Program, which is administered by Phi Theta Kappa.

The Program gives out 200 stipends (up to $237,500) yearly across four tiers of recipients in varying amounts:

  • 50 New Century Gold Scholars are given $1,500
  • 50 Silver Scholars are given $1,250
  • A50 Bronze Scholars are given $1,000.

Applicants must be:

  • A Current high school (or home schooled) student attending a school in the United States. (or select Department of Defense schools) who will graduate during the 2021-2023 academic school year.
  • A Citizen of United States, Reside in the US Permanently, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, or Humanitarian Parolees based on the guidelines utilized by U.S. Department of Education for Federal Financial Aid eligibility.
  • Expecting to receive your diploma (high school) during current academic year.
  • Aiming to obtain a degree at an accredited U.S. post secondary institution.
  • Able to verify at least an overall B/3.0 GPA in high school coursework.

Applicants may not be:

  • Child(ren) or grandchild(ren) of current employees of coca cola, officers, or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, Company divisions, or subsidiaries.
  • Child(ren) or grandchild(ren) of former employees who are currently receiving pension based on their previous employment with Coca Cola bottling companies, The Coca Cola Company, Company divisions, or subsidiaries.
  • An International students with the exception of students at Department of Defense (DoD) schools.
  • A graduate of any high school in the U.S.
  • A temporary residence in the U.S.

How To Apply For Coca-Cola Scholarship

First things first, you’ll be required to submit a Google Form application through Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation online portal.

Fortunately, there would be no need for transcripts, essays, or other supplementary documents usually required to apply for a scholarship.

However, before filling out the application, the foundation recommends you to secure a copy of your transcript. The reason for the transcript is to make sure that you are actually providing an up-to-date information about yourself.

Without further ado, below are some of the documents that you will be required to obtain before filling out the application:

  • High School Code from College Board through your school.
  • A combined accurate income of your parents before taxes last year (not compulsory).
  • Detailed information about your school sponsored extracurriculars. Example: How long you stayed in each club, your official leadership titles and how long you have played the roles.
  • Detailed information about all your honors and awards received all through your high school.
  • Detailed information on any community service hours you’ve completed throughout your high school days.
  • Furthermore, you are required to know the number of AP, IB, and Honors classes offered at your school.
  • You’ll be required to know your grades all through your stay in high school (transcript).
  • Your current class size and class rank.
  • Lastly, you’ll be required to provide information on all your work experiences all through your high school. Such as The nature of work and the hours you work per week, etc

Only high school senior year students are eligible to apply. Applications are accepted from the 1st of August – 31st of October each year.
